Every year I wait for the Steam Sale as some amazing things come down in price! It's a hoot!
I was intending to buy 3 items I actually only bought one it's called Bunch of Heroes! It's downloading now and unfortunately it's not hosted on Game Arena so the download will be going towards the quota.
Once I played it I will update the blog with a mini review.

Quickscoping
Quickscoping on Modern Warfare 3 is a wonderful thing! There is nothing like taking on 3 opponents with just your bolt action rifle.
I used to do this on Modern Warfare 2 I was never really any good at it, I was never consistent shall we say. I would go into a lobby and for the first few games I would play really very well and after that I would just become useless I've really never had the knack for playing well consistently. In Modern Warfare 3 it is exactly the same, I will play very well and then just be useless and I have searched the internet for tips on how to master the "Quickscope" and it seems it just comes down to practice and knowing when to pull the trigger. I experienced a game today with a bunch of guys who were all in a clan, one of them happened to be a friend so I played on their team they all used snipers and we won in a matter of minutes. They were all quickscoping destroying the opposite team and forcing them to leave.
So I reckon I will just keep practicing and maybe one day I will become one of the best around (NOT), it seriously becomes such an annoying thing to learn as rapid fire weaponry just tear you to pieces.

Modern Warfare 3
I bought this game, I just had to have it. As soon as I had the money I bought it. The reason I bought it is because well, I enjoyed all the last ones and since they don't change the game much why the hell wouldn't I enjoy this one.
So I have had the game a couple of weeks now, I completed Single Player not the most compelling of stories but what the hell Captain Price is still in the game and he is baller! So after switching characters almost every level and dying a load (playing on Veteran) I managed to complete the game. Awesome fun a whole new array of weaponry and I was glad to see the G36C back in action along with many other guns.
Now I had the choice of Multiplayer or check out the new Survival mode, so I did just that. The new game mode is awesome adore it! I think it's extremely fun and becomes a significant challenge on higher difficulties along with higher rounds. I like the fact that you can call in squads, predator missiles but it was lacking something. I'm not sure what, Horder mode for Gears Of War had something. I tried to pin it down and I couldn't come up with the answer. There are however a few annoyances whilst playing the mode for example if you are intending to camp in a room and have a Riot Squad with you they often block entrances! This is no good if you are trying to retreat tactically you have a huge Frenchman with a riot shield blocking you. I think Infinity Ward can build from this Survival mode, I'd like to see the addition of more players along with some Survival dedicated maps not just the lot from Multiplayer, also I think you should be able to tactically command the squads you call in. I also believe that you should be rewarded after a certain few rounds something similar to Nazi Zombies with the bonus drops but rather have "Command" drop in some additional help or maybe even some Juggernaught armour for you or a buddy.
Then onto Multiplayer and as you can imagine the fun didn't stop, of course if you have played any previous Call Of Duty then you'll know what to expect nothing less than action packed warfare with bullets flying all over the place. As with all the Call Of Duty's you have your few imbalances for example the FMG9's are extremely over powered in close quarters I would even go as far to say that Short-Mid range combat these are demons and paired with selected perks you are a machine on some of the tighter maps. I am loving the new game modes that have been added. The downside is that the Matchmaking system for me living in Australia is still very annoying, it seems that still Australia get's left in the dust when it comes to Online gaming. I mean come on the continent is big enough and the population is rising give me some goddamn dedicated servers that I can rank up in?! I experienced a game where it was mainly Australians and myslef and another player alternated host every now and again through selection. At the end of the fifth game, it took us back to the lobby and 4 more players joined new game starts and the server get's handed over to these new players who happened to be playing from Europe, now why does 4 Europeans take host over the majority of Aussies? That's ludicrous!
Aside from all that it is a fantastic game that will keep me entertained over the Xmas period!
Peace
