Killing Floor Review

Killing Floor

About The Game

This game is pure and simple you spawn in a map and you kill waves upon waves of zombies! But it includes several cool features for example you are able to weld doors so you can funnel the zombies down certain hall ways and you have the 7 Perks "Classes" to choose from which benefit the team in various different ways for example the Medic can Heal other team member.

What I Like About Killing Floor

What I like about this game... Killing Zombies of course what's not to like. There are plenty of ways to do it in this game you can use a crossbow to take heads of you can use a flamethrower to burn them you can use melee weapons to cut them you can use explosives to blow them up. All amazingly good fun. I also like that the game is really hard on the higher difficulty settings. The thing I love the most is the Source Development Kit that allows players to create new maps for themselves to play.

How Can The Game Be Improved

There are a few bugs in the game and this game is quite old so graphically it is poor but the game play makes up for it. So I think if they were ever to make a new game, I would hope to see some graphical improvements also I would like to see new weapons too, other than that thought this game makes for some amazing fun it will keep you entertained for many many hours.

My Top 3 Tips For New Players

I had plenty of questions to ask when I began playing this game one being what class is the best to play first I have a few answers to the questions I had.

1. The class to play first in my opinion is "Sharpshooter", why because you gain bonuses to your starting weapon the pistol it is also considered the easiest to level I mean just headshot sounds easy right? Pick a class you want to play, you gotta enjoy the game too.

2. Play on the easier difficulty settings first before going onto the harder ones, you should ok to start out on normal and once you level a few classes you'll be good to crank up the difficulty.

3. Team work - for this game it is essential communicate with your team work out where it is you are going to hole up or if you are going to run and where?

What Features Separate It From Other Games

The main feature that separates this game from all the others is the ability to weld doors so that you can funnel enemies, I haven't played a Zombie game where you could do stuff like that and it's really exciting watching all these zombies come at you from one direction. The game is really good and it's pretty well priced for the amount of hours you get out of it and I would recommend it to anyone.
